Are you feeling generous?
As a business owner, it’s important to occasionally give back to your clients. Have you ever tried doing this with social media and digital platforms? It’s actually pretty simple.
Let me share a few ideas that you can use to give back to your clients through social media.
1. Mailing List Exclusives
Do you have a list of loyal customers who have subscribed to your mailing list? This is an easy way to GIVE BACK to them. Try offering a coupon code or free product voucher in your newsletters, exclusive to mailing list subscribers. Use this as a tool to gain more subscribers by promoting your mailing list as a way to ‘earn free stuff.’
Do you have an all-star product or service that your clients & customers just can’t get enough of? Give it away! This not only helps you build a stronger relationship with your current fan base on social media, it also allows you to gain new fans that are interested in your kind gesture.
Use these contests as a way to engage and learn more about your fan base and what they want… Are you able to give away a gift certificate for your business? Lead into the giveaway by posting something like this, “Tell us in the comments what you would do with a $50 Gift Certificate to ‘XXXXXXX’ for a chance to win one!”
Don’t be surprised if these generous giveaways attract new clients & customers!
3. Codes & Coupons
Give away a special code on your social media platforms for your clients & customers to redeem. This is a fun way to generate some excitement on your profiles and for your business.
A creative way to execute this idea is to create a code exclusive to the profile that it is being promoted on. FBFiveDollars: post a photo or short video explaining to your fans that if they come in between ‘said time’ or ‘said dates’ and mention FBFiveDollars, they will get $5.00 off their next purchase!
Do you have any fun ideas to share about how you give back to your clients & customers using social media? We would love to hear about them!
